Premier South Asian A Cappella group at Cornell University
Formed in 2011, Tarana brings the warm whiff of chai to Ithaca's frigid winters. As the only South Asian a cappella group at Cornell, Tarana has the unique honor of combining the musical traditions of the East and the West, singing songs by artists from Ariana Grande to Arijit Singh. Solid music, fun performances and good looks have fast made the group a fixture at various shows all around campus.
With its unique fusion, exciting musical arrangements, and members from many different musical backgrounds, Tarana showcases the wealth of musical talent within the South Asian community at Cornell.
This organization is a registered student organization of Cornell University.
